1 Degree of Separation

MWR Sasebo and Fleet & Family Support Center welcomes the  “1 Degree of Separation” prevention entertainment initiative, bringing the topics of depression, education, and suicide prevention to the forefront of discussion with laughter and straight talk to break the cycle of shame.

The goal of “1 Degree of Separation” is to spark dialogue, raise awareness, and foster acceptance for those suffering from depression through a combination of shared authentic experiences, laughter and vulnerability. The performers use humor to address dark topics because laughter helps release pain.
