We're a home away from home for our active duty, single or unaccompanied sailors.

Our center has recliners and bean bags, a mini movie theater with stadium seating, laptop rentals (with CAC access) and printer access and a video game room. We have hundreds of movies and video games to choose from. You can play pool, ping pong or just chill and use our free WiFi. Every month we have a free dinner night and most weekends we have off base trips to introduce you to Japan. And all service members, who are E5 and below, receive a special discounted rate on all trips as part of our Liberty Blue Jacket program.

Celebrate world UFO Day with a space movie marathon! We will show Spaceballs.

Departs FFC at 5:30 p.m. • $8 and includes 3 games of bowling.

July 4: Independence Day

Celebrate Independence Day at Liberty with an appetizer spread, root beer floats and games! Activities will start at 12 p.m. Free!

July 8: Super Smash Bros Tournament

Bring your own Switch or useours! Sign up at the Liberty Center. Starts at 6 p.m. Prizes awarded to winners. Free!

July 10&24: Get off base with Liberty on demand!

Want to head to the mall with a group of friends? Or to the beach to watch the sunset? Possibilities are endless. Free!

July 13: Liberty Paintball Party

Head to Hario for a game of paintball. $20 will get you transportation, full gear, 1,000 rounds of paint, and a sack lunch! Leaves at 10:30 a.m. and returns at 2:30 p.m.

July 20: Kuma River White Water Rafting

Beat the heat and enjoy the thrill of white-water rafting! This is a popular rafting spot in Japan that does not disappoint! During your trip, you will get to swim in calmer waters and explore caves. E5 and below: $45 • E6+: $55

July 21, 2024 • Team Labs Experience and Shopping

Head to Fukuoka and check out EZO BOSS, including the TeamLabs Experience! This immersive digital art will amaze and inspire you. There are multiple floors with many attractions. Your ticket will grant you access to four floors, including the slide from the roof! We will then head to the Tenjin area for some lunch and shopping! E-5 and below, $18. E-6 $ and above $25. Departs Fleet Fitness Center at 0900. Returns 1900.

July 26, 2024 • Fukuoka Hawks 

Join Liberty and head to the PayPay Dome in Fukuoka to watch the Hawks take on the Orix Buffaloes. They are one of the 12 professional baseball teams in Japan and the only ball club in the Kyushu region. The Hawks were the 2020 Champions of the Japan Series for the 11 times, and they also won the League championship 21 times. Take this opportunity to start rooting for them! E-5 and below, $12. E-6 and above $15. Departs Fleet Fitness Center at 1600. Returns approximately 2200.

July 27, 2024 • Tobata Gion Festival

The Tobata Gion, is a shrine festival with a history spanning over 200 years. The festival is recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage site. Yamakasa floats parade through the streets, showcasing a vibrant spectacle. As night falls, each Yamakasa undergoes a stunning transformation, becoming a towering pyramid of light. Don’t miss this FREE trip to enjoy some Japanese culture! Departs the Fleet Fitness Center at 1400, returns at 2300. 

August 3, 2024 • Hoa-Hoa Indoor Climbing and Fukuoka Free Time

Check out this very different way to rock climb! Located in Fukuoka, Hoa-Hoa features the best indoor rock wall in Kyushu! After a morning of climbing, we will head to the Canal City mall for some lunch and shopping. E-5 and below: $15. E6: $22. Includes a starter lesson, rental shoes, and chalk bag at the rock wall. Departs Fleet Fitness Center at 800, returns at 1700.

August 17, 2024 • EZO BOSS and Fukuoka Hawks

Head to Fukuoka for a double header as we hit EZO BOSS and head to the PayPay Dome!  Bozz-Zo features 7 floors of entertainment, including the immersive digital art experience called TeamLabs! Your ticket will grant you access to four floors and the slide from the roof!  After a fun morning, we will head to the PayPay Dome and watch the Fukuoka Hawks take on The Chiba Lotte Marines!
